Retrieval - near The Orangery Pond

Competitors will be required to send their dog to retrieve two dummies, leaping over bales of straw of varying heights. The dog must retrieve the dummies separately. Prizes will be awarded for the lowest timed retrieves. Prizes 1st-3rd.
There will be a separate event for Junior Handlers (aged 5 to 15 years) where both the handler and dog retrieve the dummies. 50p per entry. Rosettes 1st-3rd. Winner's trophy. First place will receive a bag of dog food donated by Roger Skinner Ltd.

Scramble - on The Orangery Pond

Open Class only. Prizes 1st-3rd. The dog and handler scramble is timed, with the dog off lead. Time faults will be added for any obstacles not negotiated correctly or if the dog does not retrieve the two dummies.
The winner will hold the Chloe Memorial Trophy presented by Caroline Ractliffe, Frampton Country Fair Secretary (1992-2000).

Monty's Allsorts Dog Agility Training Club has been in existence for just over four years and is led by Malcolm Bassett, one of the pioneers of Dog Agility in Gloucestershire in the late 1970s. Malcolm and fellow instructors Steve Swankie and Julie Valery use their experience of the latest handling and training methods to cater for all dogs and handlers from beginners through to competition level, or just for fun. Dog Agility demonstrations, interspersed with public 'have-a-go' sessions, are run throughout the day.
This year we are having a brand new areana area for all of our Dog Shows.To park near to the Dog Show arenas you MUST stay in the left hand lane after you have turned off the A38 onto the B4071 and follow the signs. A dedicated parking area will be available near the South Gate Entrance to the Showground with access to the arenas after paying for entry to the Showground.

Dogs/Bitches not eligible for the Show are Puppies under 6 months, and Dogs/Bitches that have won any of the following awards: Challenge Certificate (or any award that counts towards the title of Champion), Reserve Challenge Certificate or Junior Warrant. Any puppies under 6 months of age are not eligible for entry. Exhibitors and officials at the Companion Dog Show shall be subject to Kennel Club Rule A42.
